Answers to the most frequently asked questions about Hotel Svezia & Scandinavia in Jesolo Lido. 

Q: How can I book a room or an apartment? 
A: You can book your room or apartment with our on-line system.

If you were not able to finalise your booking on-line or if you prefer a direct contact, please fill in the REQUEST form or send us an e-mail at info@svezia-scandinavia.com.

Each information or request for quotation and booking is handled directly by our offices. We will do our best to understand your needs.

We will try to respond to your questions as quickly as possible. The answer will not be immediate but we will always try to make it as complete as possible.

If you are interested to learn about the Hotel “SVEZIA & SCANDINAVIA” and wish to have some information or quote for your holiday in Jesolo, do not hesitate to submit the request form.

The quote-request is not binding and the provided data will be used only in order to finalise your reservation or give you all the information you might need.

Under no circumstances will your data be given to third parties and you can at any time ask for them to be deleted. 

Q: When can we check-in on the arrival day? 
A: The rooms will be at your disposal as soon as possible and anyway not later then 2 p.m. 

Q: How long may we keep the room on the departure day? 
A: On the departure day, the room may be kept until 10 a.m. It is also possible to book the room until 6 p.m., upon availability. The supplement is 50% on BB basis. 
 

Q: If I travel by car, is it easy to find the hotel? 
A: The hotel is situated on the beach, near the centre, 100m from Milano Square. It is easy to find. 
During summer time, from 8 p.m. to 06 a.m., the main streets of Jesolo become pedestrian zones but you can drive to the hotel following secondary streets. 
 

Q: Is there a car park? 
A: The hotel has a free off road parking at your own risk. It is not possible to reserve a parking place. The guests are asked to leave their parking place free by 10 o’clock of their departure day. 
 

Q: If I travel by train, how can I get to the hotel? 
A: San Donà di Piave is the nearest railway station, located 20 km from Jesolo. For national and international arrivals we recommend the railway station Mestre-Venezia situated 40 km from Jesolo. The busses for Lido di Jesolo are leaving every hour from both railway stations, and they arrive to Piazzale Picchi (main bus station in Lido di Jesolo). 
 

Q: How far is the Venice airport and how can I get to the hotel from there? 
A: The Venice airport is only 20 km far from Lido di Jesolo.
The bus for Lido di Jesolo leaves every hour and travels about half an hour. Taxis are also available. 
 

Q: How far is the Treviso airport and how can I get to the hotel from there? 
A: The Treviso airport is only 40 km far from the hotel. 
During the high season, the bus for Lido di Jesolo leaves at 6.50 am, 9.30 am and 2.30 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 
The busses for Mestre, on the other hand, are very frequent. They are leaving every day, every half an hour from 8.15 am to 22.25 pm. In Mestre, you can take a bus for Lido di Jesolo. The departures are every hour.

Q: Is there a shuttle service from the airport? 
A: We do not have a shuttle service from the airport, but we can book a taxi for you (maximum 8 persons). 
 

Q: If I travel by bus, how can I reach the hotel? 
A: From the main station there are local busses leaving every 15/20 minutes. The bus n. 2 direction Cortellazzo will take you to the hotel. Your bus stop is the last one before Milano Square, in front of the elementary school. The hotel is 50m far from the bus stop. 
 

Q: Do you accept credit cards? 
A: We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard, Maestro, Pagobancomat. 
 

Q: What is included in the price of the room? 
A: The price includes the overnight, the daily cleaning service, the periodical linen change, breakfast, air conditioning (upon the weather conditions), safe, TV, small fridge swimming pools (for adults and for children), private beach with sun umbrellas and lying-chairs. Half board includes an ALL INCLUSIVE dinner! 
 

Q: What do the price of the room not include? 
A: The following services are not included in the prices:
- Lying-chair with beach towel in the solarium-terrace
- Whirlpool in the solarium-terrace (it works with tokens)
- Bicycle to rent
- Drinks at the bar

Q: What happens if I cancel a reservation? 
A: To fix a reservation you must pay a deposit. In case of cancellation or no show there will be no refound 
 

Q: What happens if we leave the hotel earlier as reserved? 
A: In this case, the management may ask a cancellation fee amounting up to a 3 days stay. 
 

Q: Are the pets welcome? 
A: Unfortunately no, the pets are not accepted. 
 

Q: How are the rooms structured? 
A: The rooms have two beds, a bathroom with shower and hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, safe and a balcony with side sea view, a small fridge.
The hotel has also rooms with front-sea view (they may be booked upon a supplement) and single rooms. Beds can be added in the rooms (on request). 
 

Q: How are the apartments structured? 
A: The apartments can accommodate from 4 to 6 persons. They have one bedroom with double bed and bunk bed, living room with kitchen corner (microwave oven, refrigerator) and sleeping couch for 2 persons, 2 TV (SAT), air conditioning, electronic safe, bathroom with box shower and hairdryer, big balcony. Wi-fi 
 

Q: Which services can be used by the apartment guests? 
A: All the hotel services: daily cleaning (kitchen corner excluded), periodical linen change, towels, electricity, water... and of course the day and night reception services, spacious common areas, Mini Club for children... 

Q: Is there any room with sea view? 
A: All rooms and apartments have a side sea view. It is possible to reserve a front sea view upon supplement. 
 

Q: Is there any room wheelchair adapted? Is it easy to run with a wheelchair in the hotel? 
A: The Hotel has a private car park, with three bays reserved for disabled guests. Reception, dining room, bar and terrace can all be reached without difficulty by wheelchair. The lift gives easy access to the 12 rooms suitable for wheelchair users. These rooms have sufficiently wide space to manoeuvre, and bathroom facilities are disabled-accessible.
The hotel also has a further 4 fairly large, partially accessible rooms, whose bathroom facilities are suitable for wheelchair users.
The pool area is reached by means of a ramp with an easily negotiable incline. For the access to water, a pool lift is available.
Disabled-access bathroom facilities are available in the pool area.

From the hotel, the beach can be reached by means of a flat, well surfaced approach. A large number of pitches are set-out along this approach so a wheelchair can be placed close to a beach umbrella. A walkway enables wheelchair users to get to within around twenty metres of the sea.
The beach has both indoor and outdoor disabled access bathroom and shower facilities.

Q: Are there no smoking rooms?
A: Unfortunately not. In our hotel smoking is prohibited. We strongly reccommend you not to smoke inside the room.

Q: Do you have a swimming pool? 
A: The hotel has two swimming pools, one for the adults (140cm-220cm high) and one for children (60cm high) and a solarium terrace with sun-umbrellas and lying chairs. The lying chairs by the pool are to be reserved upon a supplement. 
 

Q: When is the swimming pool open? 
A: The swimming pool is open from 09 a.m. to 12 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.. The afternoon break is for regenerating the water and save the rest hours of the hotel guests from noise.

Q: Is there a private beach? 
A: The hotel has it’s own private section of the beach. For every room there are two lying chairs and one sun-umbrella included in the price. Sun umbrellas do not have a number and may not be reserved. 
 

Q: How are the restaurant and bar services organized? 
A: The hotel has a breakfast room, a snack bar with a terrace facing the sea and a restaurant
• The bar is open from 9 a.m. till midnight.
• The buffet breakfast is served from 7.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. 

• Lunch buffet includes free drinks (water, wine, orangeade and coke). It is served from 12.15 pm  until 1.30 pm  on the sea-view terrace of our snack bar. Snacks can be eaten until midnight.
• All Inclusive dinner buffet includes free drinks (water, wine, orangeade and coke). It is served from 7 pm until 8.30 pm in our restaurant

Q: How can I make the stay of my children interesting? 
A: From the beginning of June till the end of august, every day except Saturday, the animation staff organizes activities and games for children (from 4 to 10 years), on the beach from 3.15 p.m. to 6.15 p.m. and in the mini-club room from 8.15 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. The hotel also organizes the baby-dance and other special evening events for children.
In the first week of September the Mini Club is working only in the evening from 8.15 pm till 10.30 p.m 
 

Q: Is there a baby-sitting service in the hotel? 
A: The Mini-club organizes only activities and games for children. If you need assistance during the day or during the night we may provide a baby sitter for you. 
 

Q: Is there some entertainment for adults too? 
A: Animation is organized during the day on the beach free of charge and the hotel management offers live music once a week and other occasional events. 
 

Q: Do we find some bicycles in the Hotel? 
A: In our hotel you will find bikes suitable for the new cycle paths in town and for excursions in the surroundings. At the reception you can find the guides “Jesolo Ambient Bike”: six tracks, for more than a total of 150 km of cycle paths. For costs, please contact the reception.  Bicycles can be rent from 8 am until 8 pm.

Q: Is there a laundry service? 
A: In co-operation with an external laundry, the hotel offers a 24 hours service with the delivery every day except on Sunday (dry clean). Otherwise there is a self service-laundry not very far from hotel 
 

Q: Is there a night porter service in the hotel? 
A: The hotel has a night porter. The lovers of the night life can re-enter at any time. 
 

Q: And if I want to visit Venice? 
A: Lido di Jesolo is connected to Venice by a bus and boat service all day long and all year around with often departures. You may have informations about the timetable or buy return and all-day tickets at the reception desk. 
 

Q: Is it possible to visit other art cities? 
A: Jesolo is near to the most famous art cities of the Veneto region (Treviso, Padova, Vicenza, Verona…). The connection with public means of transportation (bus, train, boat, taxi…) is good. 
 

Q: I would like to do some excursions during my stay. What do you suggest? 
A: There are many possibilities: Ville Venete with the boat on the river Brenta (departure from Venice), Cortina d’Ampezzo and other places in the Veneto Mountains, La Grotta Gigante (a big cave) in Trieste, the cave of Postojna Slovenia, Poreè in Croatia (by boat departing from the Jesolo beach), many eno-gastronimic itineraries… 
 

Q: Can you recommend an eno-gastronomic tour? 
A: There are many possibilities of eno-gastronomic itineraries: the prosecco road, Lison e Pramaggiore, Verona and Valpolicella, Gorizia and Collio, San Daniele… For further informations please visit the website www.gourmettours.it. 
 

Q: How far is the pedestrian zone? 
A: The pedestrian area is close to hotel (from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.). If you want to have some fun and do some shopping we suggest you a walk on the pedestrian zone, where you may find bars, pizzerias, shops and game areas. People loving a quiet and romantic atmosphere will appreciate the walking alley on the beach. 
 

Q: How far is the golf course? 
A: The nearest golf courses are the Jesolo Golf Club situated 7 km from the hotel and the Prà delle Torri Golf Club 10 km far. 

Q: Does your hotel offer wi-fi internet?

A: Yes, free wi-fi internet service works inside rooms/apartments and in all common spaces.
