Answers to the most frequently asked questions about Hotel Svezia & Scandinavia in Jesolo Lido.
Q: How can I book a room or an apartment?
A: You can book your room or apartment with our on-line system.
If you were not able to finalise your booking on-line or if you prefer a direct contact, please fill in the REQUEST form or send us an e-mail at info@svezia-scandinavia.com.
Each information or request for quotation and booking is handled directly by our offices. We will do our best to meet your needs.
We will try to respond to your questions as quickly as possible. The answer will not be immediate but we will always try to make it as complete as possible.
If you want to learn about the Hotel “SVEZIA & SCANDINAVIA” and wish to have some information or quote for your holiday in Jesolo, do not hesitate to submit the request form.
The quote-request is not binding and the provided data will be used only in order to finalise your reservation or give you all the information you might need.
Under no circumstances will your data be given to third parties and you can at any time ask for them to be deleted.
A deposit is required by credit card or bank transfer.
Q: When can we check-in on the arrival day?
A: The rooms will be at your disposal as soon as possible and anyway not later then 2 p.m.
Q: How long may we keep the room on the departure day?
A: On the departure day, the room may be kept until 10 a.m. It is possible to book the room until 6 p.m., upon availability. The supplement is 50% on BB basis.
Q: If I travel by car, is it easy to find the hotel?
A: The hotel is located on the beach, near the centre, 100m from Milano Square. It is easy to find.
During summer time, from 8 p.m. to 06 a.m., the main streets of Jesolo become pedestrian zones but you can drive to the hotel following secondary streets.
Q: Is there a car park?
A: The hotel has free, unguarded but illuminated parking. Parking spaces are not bookable. On the day of departure, please vacate the car park by 10.00, leaving your place for new arrivals.
Q: If I travel by train, how can I get to the hotel?
A: San Donà di Piave is the nearest railway station, located 20 km from Jesolo. For international arrivals we recommend the railway station Mestre-Venezia situated 40 km from Jesolo. The buses for Lido di Jesolo are leaving every hour from both railway stations, and they arrive to Piazzale Picchi (main bus station in Lido di Jesolo).
Q: How far is the Venice airport and how can I get to the hotel from there?
A: The Venice airport is only 25 km far from Lido di Jesolo.
The bus for Lido di Jesolo leaves every hour and travels about half an hour. Taxis are also available. On request we can organize a transfer for you.
Q: How far is the Treviso airport and how can I get to the hotel from there?
A: The Treviso airport is only 40 km far from the hotel. Jesolo can be reached by direct buses or by changing in Mestre, otherwise you can take a taxi from the airport.

Q: Is there a shuttle service from the airport?
A: We do not have a shuttle service from the airport, but we can book a taxi for you
Q: If I travel by bus, how can I reach the hotel?
A: From the main bus station there are local buses leaving every 15/20 minutes. The bus n. 2 direction Cortellazzo will take you to the hotel. Your bus stop is the last one before Milano Square, in front of the elementary school. The hotel is 50m far from the bus stop.
Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard, Maestro, Pagobancomat.
Q: What is included in the price of the room?
A: The prices of the HOTEL ROOMS include accommodation, daily cleaning services and periodic linen change, air conditioning (based on weather conditions), safe, television, small fridge, swimming pools (for adults and separate pool for children), Wi-Fi.
The prices of the APARTMENTS (residence rate) include accommodation, use of the kitchen, washing machine, air conditioning (according to weather conditions), safe, television, small fridge, swimming pools (for adults and separate pool for children), Wifi. Cleaning, linen change and breakfast services are subject to charges and on request.
Q: What do the price of the room not include?
A: The following services are not included in the price list:
• Breakfast
• Dinner
• Sun-umbrella with 2 laying beds on the sun terrace
• Sun-umbrella with 2 laying beds on the beach
• Bicycle rental
• Food and drinks at the Bar
In order to book these services and get information about prices, please ask at the reception desk.
Q: What happens if I cancel a reservation?
A: In case of cancellation of the reservation or no show, the deposit paid for the final confirmation will not be refunded. Please consider taking out an insurance policy to have the possibility of the deposit refunding.
Q: What happens if we leave the hotel earlier as reserved?
A: The management may ask a cancellation fee amounting up to a 3 days stay.
Q: Are the pets welcome?
A: The pets are not accepted.
Q: How are the rooms made?
A: The rooms have two beds, a bathroom with shower and hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, safe, a small fridge and a balcony with side sea view.
The hotel has some rooms with full sea view and some single rooms. They may be booked upon a supplement.
Beds can be added in some of the rooms on request.
Q: How are the apartments made?
A: The apartments can accommodate 4 to 6 people and consist of a bedroom with double bed, foldaway bunk bed, living room with kitchenette (electric hob and microwave, fridge and freezer) and sofa bed for two people, 2 TVs ( with SAT programs), air conditioning, electronic safe, bathroom with shower and hairdryer, large terrace, Wi-Fi.
Q: Which services can be used by the apartment guests?
A: Services include, concierge and reception, snack-bar, restaurant, swimming pool for adults and separate pool for children, sun terrace (sunbeds on request), Wi-Fi.
On request, cleaning services (excluding kitchenette), periodic linen change and breakfast.
Q: Is there any room with sea view?
A: All rooms and apartments have a side sea view. It is possible to reserve a full sea view upon supplement.
Q: Is there any room wheelchair adapted? Is it easy to run with a wheelchair in the hotel?
A: The hotel has rooms suitable for wheelchair users. These rooms have large enough maneuvering spaces, and the toilets are accessible. In the private car park, there are some parking spaces reserved for guests sitting in a wheelchair. The common areas, the bar and the restaurant are accessible.
Q: Are there no smoking rooms?
A: In the hotel common areas smoking is not allowed. We strongly reccommend not to smoke inside the rooms.
Q: Do you have a swimming pool?
A: The hotel has two swimming pools, one for the adults 19m long and 10m large (140cm-220cm high) and one for children (60cm high) and a solarium terrace with sun-umbrellas and lying chairs. The lying sun-umbrellas by the pool are to be reserved upon a supplement.
Q: What are the pool times?
A: The swimming pool is open from 09 a.m. to 12 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.. The afternoon break is for regenerating the water and save the hotel guests rest hours from noise.
Q: How are the restaurant and bar services organized?
A: The hotel has a breakfast room, a snack bar with a terrace facing the sea and a restaurant
• The bar is open from 9 a.m. till midnight.
• The buffet breakfast is served from 7.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.
• Lunch is served from 12.15 to 1.30 p.m. on the terrace facing the sea.
• All Inclusive dinner buffet includes free drinks (water, wine, orangeade and coke). It is served from 7 pm until 8.30 pm in our restaurant
Q: Is there some entertainment?
A: The entertainment is organized during the day on the beach with activities for adults and children.
Q: Do we find some bicycles in the Hotel?
A: In our hotel you will find bikes suitable for a ride in town and for excursions in the surroundings. For prices, please ask at the reception desk. Bicycles can be rent from 8 am until 8 pm.
Q: Is there a laundry service?
A: Not far from the hotel there is a launderette which also offers an ironing service, and a dry cleaning service
Q: Is there a night porter service in the hotel?
A: The hotel has a night porter. The lovers of the night life can re-enter at any time, respecting the rest of the other guests.
Q: And if I want to visit Venice?
A: Lido di Jesolo is connected to Venice by a bus and boat service all day long and all year around with often departures.
Q: Is it possible to visit other art cities?
A: Jesolo is near to the most famous art cities of the Veneto region (Treviso, Padova, Vicenza, Verona…). The connection with public means of transportation (bus, train, boat, taxi…) is good.
Q: I would like to do some excursions during my stay. What do you suggest?
A: There are many possibilities: Ville Venete with the boat on the river Brenta (departure from Venice), Cortina d’Ampezzo and other places in the Veneto Mountains, La Grotta Gigante (the big cave) in Trieste, the cave of Postojna Slovenia, many eno-gastronimic itineraries…
Q: Can you recommend an eno-gastronomic tour?
A: There are many possibilities of eno-gastronomic itineraries: the Prosecco road, Lison e Pramaggiore, Verona and Valpolicella, Gorizia and Collio, San Daniele… For further informations please visit the website www.gourmettours.it.
Q: How far is the pedestrian zone?
A: The pedestrian area is close to hotel (from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.). If you want to have some fun and do some shopping we suggest you a walk on the pedestrian zone, where you may find bars, pizzerias, shops and game areas. People loving a quiet and romantic atmosphere will appreciate the walking alley on the beach.
Q: How far is the golf course?
A: The nearest golf courses are the Jesolo Golf Club situated 7 km from the hotel and the Prà delle Torri Golf Club 10 km far.
Q: Does your hotel offer wi-fi internet?
A: Yes, free wi-fi internet service works inside rooms/apartments and in all common spaces.
