Jesolo
Jesolo’s tourist offer is among the most comprehensive in Veneto: from small family-run guesthouses to large 5 stars hotels, holiday homes and new residential complexes created by worldrenowned architects, and campsites surrounded by the green pine forest. Most of these structures are on the beach, on a privileged position. Jesolo is a “green town”, not only for the many public parks created in the past few years and for the large pine forest, but above-all for the far-sighted decision to abolish traffic in the central streets at night and create Europe’s longest pedestrian way!
15 km of fully equipped beach Along the 15 kilometres of beach there is a continuous series of bathing establishments equipped with beds, chairs and umbrellas, showers and toilets available to tourists and residents and also accessible to disabled people. Along the sea front promenade, the many kiosks and hotel bars offer tourists comfortable dining options. There is an extensive rescue service all along the coastline with personnel well-trained in rescue and first aid, and in the protection of legality.
Relax for the whole family The calm sea with shallow water, constantly guarded by rescue personnel, makes Jesolo suitable for families with children. On the beach there are play areas, entertainment service for all ages and many opportunities for relaxing and sport.
Nature, excursions, landscapes In addition to the sea, the hinterland of Jesolo can offer the opportunity of a nature worth discovering. Thanks to the bike paths and waterways you can reach the fishing valleys of the Venetian Lagoon, follow the course of the rivers Sile and Piave, visit the fishermen’s small harbours or explore the pine forest that extends to the beach.
