Conference on agrivoltaics and agriculture

The Municipality of Jesolo invites residents and industry professionals to attend a meeting dedicated to new developments in renewable energy applied to agriculture. The event is scheduled for Thursday, May 7, in the Council Room, where several experts will discuss the opportunities and challenges related to agrivoltaics.
Speakers will include Angelo Centili, national director of Legambiente Agricoltura, Aldo Dal Prà of the CNR Institute for Bioeconomy in Florence, Giorgio Impollonia, researcher at the Faculty of Agricultural, Food, and Environmental Sciences at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Piacenza, Aldo Campesan, lawyer for the Italia Solare association, and Alessandra Pernechele, director of the Land Management and Productive Activities sector at the Municipality of Jesolo. Closing remarks will be delivered by Luigi Lazzaro, president of Legambiente Veneto. The debate will be coordinated by Ivano Marcorin of the Legambiente Veneto Orientale branch.
The meeting will also be livestreamed under the title "Agrivoltaics and Agriculture: A Possible Coexistence."
The event is open to all citizens.
It will take place in the Council Chamber at Via Sant'Antonio 11 in Jesolo, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on May 7th.
